From the guys who brought you Isaac Hunter’s Oak City Tavern… we’re proud to announce Joel Lane’s Public House!
What better place to enjoy a hearty sandwich and a cold beer than in the father of Raleigh’s own pub? A restaurant concept 250 years in the making, Joel Lane’s Public House will officially begin serving a full menu of pub-fare dishes, alongside a wide selection of local beer, bourbon, and fine wines on Monday, August 15, 2011. The tavern will be open daily from 11:30am until 2:00am. As sister establishment to Fayetteville Street’s popular Isaac Hunter’s Oak City Tavern, Joel Lane’s Public House will feature a finely-crafted menu with dishes ranging from Isaac’s Famous Scotch Eggs to a Jalapeño Meatball Sandwich. Just as Isaac Hunter’s Oak City Tavern has brought the art of the expertly-crafted cocktail (and shuffleboard) back to Fayetteville Street, Joel Lane’s Public House strives to return a tradition of quality pub food, served in a friendly atmosphere, to Downtown Raleigh’s Glenwood South district.
